My name is Luca Manzali, and I am a Director of Photography, graduated from the 'Accademia del Cinema e dello Spettacolo' in Bologna under the guidance of Mauro Marchetti and Rocco Marra.
My passion for storytelling stems from reportage photography and photojournalism. During the early phase of my career, I dedicated myself to documentaries, overseeing all the production phases, from filming to editing for both cinema and television.
With the strong problem-solving skills that documentaries taught me, I ventured into the world of advertising, refining my lighting techniques even on more traditional sets and learning to communicate visually both in advertising and on social media.
Today, I am also working in narrative filmmaking, lighting the sets of independent short films, always striving to convey true emotions through images.
